Mitch Reed, CPA
Mitch graduated with high honors from the University of Tennessee in 1987 with a B.S. in Business Administration and a Major in Accountancy. He worked in the audit division of a Big Five accounting firm for three years and after that was responsible for financial statement reporting, SEC reporting, and taxes for a large publicly traded manufacturing firm located in Knoxville.
In 1991, Mitch began his accounting and tax practice with an emphasis on both service and support. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Better Business Bureau.
Mitch is a past board member for Hope Resource Center and Medic Regional Blood Center. He enjoys fly fishing, playing guitar and spending time with his family.
Mitch Reed
Sheri Hagood, CPA
Sheri has 29 years of experience in the accounting/auditing field. Her clients have included churches, restaurants, medical offices, personnel companies, engineering firms, service companies, and retail stores.
Sheri is certified as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Tennessee. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Accounting from the University of Tennessee.
Sheri’s civic affiliations include: Cokesbury United Methodist Church- Benevolence Team Leader, Facilitator of Faith & Finance, Facilitator of Financial Peace University; Bearden High School Basketball Booster Club Treasurer, President; Delta Delta Delta Alumnae Treasurer; Knoxville Nativity Pageant President of Board of Directors
Her hobbies include spending time with her family and friends, reading, and volunteer work.
Kelly Bean, Staff Accountant
Kelly has been an Accountant with Mitch Reed and Associates, PLLC for 20 years. She works with clients on payroll, sales tax, financials, and other accounting issues.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Kelly has extensive QuickBooks knowledge and will oftentimes assist clients who use this Microsoft software.
Kelly enjoys running and hiking with her family.

We are fortunate to also have additional staff members, versed in small business accounting and management, with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, financial statement preparation, payroll processing, and accounts payable.
These staff members have deep QuickBooks knowledge and utilization for payroll, vendor payments, analysis and financials.
